Mrs. Elliott has been an educator since 1981 when she graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Education Degree. She has had experience with all ages in many different fields. She has had the privilege of traveling all over the United States and has been to several foreign countries including Japan where she had the opportunity to teach High School for a year.
In 1991 she retired temporarily to raise 4 children and after 10 years returned to teaching art full time.
"I'm looking forward to the opportunity afforded me in Valentine. To be in a small school environment gives me the chance to tackle projects I wouldn't normally be able to attempt. I thank the community for supporting this Fine Arts program and I hope you will be pleased with the results.
